The Daily Mahopack is back to give you your annual dose of sugary goodness...via news of course!
We hope you...uh...'enjoyed' the summer squishies, after a war, genocide, and the death of some dumb black bird, the opening of the clouds and even a DRAGON ATTACK, we figured you all could use a break. But who wants to get back to the seriousness already? We sure don't, and we see those STARS in your eyes that you don't want to either! Are you worried about what lurks below, that you're going to have a METEORIC reaction? WHEN YOU FIND OUT THE THEME FOR THIS YEARS EVENT YOUR HAPPINESS IS GOING TO BE ON ASTRONOMIC PROPORTIONS!!

The Starlit Saturnalia is conceptually based on Stars, Galaxy, the Cosmos, and the Asian Festivals of Light: Diwali and Obon respectfully! Look below for some reference material!

- As always, the event will be going from September 8th, to October 9th (accounting for one day missed on the eigth).
- The journal WILL BE UPDATED with more concepts later in the week! We were all kind of busy with school, and real life!

- Ferris Wheel - Take a ride on the wondrous Cosmic Ferris Wheel, taking you as high as the stars, and Hawk-Aleritha around the Sun!
- Mahopack Inn - Like every year, the Mahopack Inn is back to stop by and rest, hope you can sleep with all the lights though! In conjunction with them, the Starry Girls show from Depatress will also be here in preparation for Áttelel!
- Apollus Plays - Since Apollus is in town once again, their plays are on show! And they are out of this world!
- Stardust Tea and Stardust Sweets - Fresh from Nui D'Ocell, the Merchant Guild has imported the infamous Tinamoussan Stardust Tea and other associated sweets!
- Ask Aska - Feel free to chat it up with the Summon Spirit of Light! Just make sure to donate some money to his money box!

Games and Gifts
Games are now opened for the Sunlit Saturnalia!
This year we have a special addition to the normal games that are played in Namco. These are actual playable games in the sense of your character gaining tickets for the games they play!
These tickets can be turned into gain prizes from a soon to be revealed list of prizes. Specific games will have bonus prizes your character can win.

At the end of Namco , all tickets gained by characters will be entered into a RAFFLE. This raffle will have non winnable prizes in any other games and will also contain out of character prizes. (Art as an example. )
How to gain Tickets:
1.You can play up to 5 games a day in the comments below with the form:
Character Name
Game Name or Random
How many times they play this game
Rules:
If you do not say the game name, you will be given a random game result.
Individual games played 5 times counts towards the 5 games a day
Every Result is random of 1- 5 tickets and the chance at a random plushie /duckie prize depending on the game.
2. All Submissions submitted for Namco will be awarded tickets.
Rules:
There is a limit of 50 tickets per submission
Submissions with games shown will have the chance at gaining selective extra prizes (plushie / duckie) depending on the game.
Do not spam just for the sake of tickets
3. Participation in Event Rps will gain 5 tickets per Event
Rules:
Only Official Birthday Events count
Must have actively participated

How to play:
1. Catch Mahoduckies with the thin paddle
2. Get the Mahoducky into the bucket in the middle of the pond without breaking the paddle’s middle
3. Tickets are rewarded by the number found on the bottom of the ducky
Rules:
1. You get only one chance per paddle
2. Anyone who scoops up a mahoducky with a star on the bottom will receive 5 tickets PLUS the galaxy mahoducky

Beauty Pageant & Costume Creation - Like every year, the Beauty Pageant is back! With a very very Big Bang!
Costume Creation
- Like every year, there's two outfits for the pageant! A Daytime and a Nighttime themed (If you find difficulty with the theme, use brighter colors for one, and focus on brighter colors for one, darkers for the other).
- The themes for the outfits are the Stars, Cosmos, Galaxies, etc, and Diwali/Obon (Feel free to focus on one or the other, but you should try and mix them). Instead of just adding stars to the uniform, look up certain galaxies and planets for reference for colors! We expect amazing things out of your designs!
Beauty Pageant Guidelines
Members will be able to vote for whom they like on the last week of the event, October 2nd-9th, no sooner. You may NOT vote for your own characters, if you do so, all your votes will be forfeited.
